Hey guyssss!

Happy New Year to everyone!

I hope I can make your New-Year’s-morning hangover a bit better by this new article from Dubai! If I didn’t have to write an essay for school, which was supposed to be turned in yesterday, that’s exactly what I would do – I’d be sitting on my couch, wrapped up in my blanket, listening to music, checking out my favorite bloggers’ posts and watching movies.

Anyways, back to Dubai!

We were really worn out after two days of intense walking around this huge city, that we decided just to lie at the hotel pool. Well, thanks to our hyperactivity, we did that for about two hours and then we hopped on the metro again and went to the downtown. This time, the destination was Jumeirah Beach, from where we planned on watching the sunset behind the Burj-Al-Arab. That was one of the best ideas, because the sunset was sooooo beautiful!

When it got dark, we decided to go for a walk at the City Walk, where we also wanted to have dinner. We found a great bistro, where they served the traditional shawarma, so we even had a chance to taste the local food! Also we bumped into Krispy Kreme doughnuts, so of course I couldn’t resist having one! Hahaha:)

Finding no. 5: You seriously won’t find any pork in the Emirates. Not even in the hotel. For breakfast we had a beef bacon, which I never had before.
