Hey everyone!

In the morning of Dec 18th, my mom arrived to my place with a huge suitcase and even bigger “hand luggage” (!!!) (don‘t worry, we’re not climbing Kilimanjaro with a suitcase, haha). Despite the laws of physics, we managed to pack a few more square meters of clothes into the suitcases and set off for a train to Vienna from where we were supposed to catch a plane to Tanzania.

On the train we were eating almost the whole way – maybe we wanted to compensate for the Christmas overeating we missed this year.

We checked in the hotel in Vienna and headed for a walk in the decorated downtown. Christmas Vienna is beautiful, romantic and truly amazing. We go there every year for the Christmas markets and I never got tired of it.

We started at Stephansdom and afterwards, we originally wanted to go for a Wiener Schnitzel to Figlmüller, but luckily it was fully booked until January 5th. Of course, we wanted to make it up, so we headed to Sacher Café for their delicious cake & coffee. We spent the evening at Rathausplatz at Christkindlmarkt, which we couldn’t leave without a proper Glühwein and other Christmas treats.

The next morning we managed to stroll along Belveder, and at noon, we went to the airport by train, to which we (as usually) had to sprint. In the end, we hit the airport on time and left to Dubai at peace, haha.
