Protein pancakes recipe

Hey guys!

I fell in love! Since I didn’t have to get up that early on the weekend, I wanted to fix myself a special but healthy late breakfast. I figured that I haven’t had protein pancakes for a while, so I decided to make those. I googled the recipe for which I’d have ingredients and started cooking.

Well… I have to praise myself because even though I can’t really cook and all I can make are scrambled eggs and chicken & rice, they were delicious! The only mistake was making too many of them, so I had to split them into two meals, haha:)

So for 5 of these pancakes (it’s more for two people, as you can see in the pictures, haha), you’ll need:

1 cup of oatmeal
1 scoop of protein powder (I used my salted caramel)
1 whole egg and 2 eggwhites
a little bit of water
1 table spoon of cinnamon
1 table spoon of baking powder

I put all ingredients into a blender to make the batter. I used coconut oil for frying and had every pancake to cook for about 2 minutes on each side.

Insted of regular maple sirup I used my zero-calorie caramel sirup by MyProtein, covered with coconut flakes and added some almonds. But you can use pretty much anything you find home, like fresh/frozen fruit, yoghurt or whipped cream (but it’s not healthy breakfast anymore, haha).

If you decide to make these, let me know how you liked them!
Have a great Monday!
