We discovered a spectacular lake Ammersee in Germany

Ammersee

Hey guys!

Here’s a report from another place in Germany that has not been discovered by instagrammers yet. At least I hope not. Ammersee is a glacial lake about 40 km from Munich, which surpasses most of the German lakes. Me and Kuba stopped here for a couple of hours when we were coming back home from the Dolomites.

And what makes Lake Ammersee so special? There are plenty of small pebble beaches so you can swim here in the summer. You can also find some “golfy” lawns that are pefect for a summer picnic. There are plenty of restaurants on the promenade and you can even take a steamboat-trip. No wonder there is a lot of people from Munich coming here to relax from the big city (so don’t be surprised to see crowds in the summer).

But what was interesting for us, photographers and visual enthusiasts, was a few wooden huts on poles, rising straight from the crystal clear water. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to go inside, but it’s super-picturesque from outside as well.

So, what do you guys think, would you come here? 🙂

E.
